To reduce the pour point of the DF, it is necessary to remove n-paraffins from its composition. This goal is achieved through catalytic dewaxing.
The technological process is based on the catalytic conversion of hydrocarbons to obtain the maximum quantity of high-quality light products. Previously, these processes were used only in large state-owned enterprises.
Any hydrocarbon with a boiling point of 140-360 ° C (light fuel oil, furnace fuel, heavy diesel, paraffins, low-viscosity marine fuel, etc.) can be used as a raw material for processing.
