UNIT OF INDUCTION HEATING OF HYDROCARBON RAW MATERIAL

PURPOSE OF THE UNIT

The unit is designed for heating hydrocarbon raw materials by electric induction, has an efficiency coefficient of 96% and can be used in oil refineries of low or medium capacity.

HOW THE INDUCTION HEATING IS HAPPENING

Induction heating is a heating of conductive bodies being under changing electromagnetic field causing electric currents inside the bodies. The power that is released in the conductor during induction heating depends on the dimensions and physical properties of the conductor (specific electrical resistance, relative magnetic permeability), and also on the frequency and intensity of the electromagnetic field.

The definition shows that for the heating of conductive materials it is not necessary to attach them to the electrical circuit; it is enough to place them in an artificially created magnetic field. The induction heating unit is to generate such a field with the desired characteristics and in the right place.

INDUCTION CURRENT GENERATOR

Electronic device with transistors, thyristors or electron tubes, creates currents of high frequency (HFC), necessary for the unit’s operation.


INDUCTION FLOW HEATER

A device that guides electromagnetic fields to a coil consisting of loops of conductive copper tubes or wires and a metallic coil.
